Historical Context
Earlier, most of the municipalities in the State administered their functions in a manual mode. However, some of the Municipal Corporations and a few municipalities had attempted and adopted computerization of the key revenue generating functions in varying maturities, albeit on a standalone basis, to meet their internal requirements.

The SmartCity suite of integrated products across the various municipal departments and functions improves the efficiency of city governance and consequently the service delivery to its citizens.
